Tournaments are coming soon to Car Town EX!

From the Car Town EX (Official Fanpage) on FaceBook, just announced the beginning of tournaments. I look forward to competing in the CarTown-EX tournaments.
There will be three brackets to enter for unique prizes!
The first Tournament will have the following brackets:
Any D Class Car, Any C Class Car, Any B Class Car

I have no idea how these will be done but I do look forward to a chance at some real heads up competitions with other players. I enjoy racing in Cartown-EX as is, but I would like the chance to race other players instead of  computer "bots".

Drag racer inspires Soldiers, Western Tech students to achieve their dreams


EL PASO, TX (KTSM) — “What are you willing to do to be successful?” was the question Antron Brown, 2012 National Hot Rod Association Top Fuel World Champion, asked Soldiers and students at Western Technical College during an inspirational speech, April 2.

Brown, an Army-sponsored drag racer, said he visits technical schools to inspire the mechanics and technicians of the future to never settle in life, and fulfill their dreams by sharing the story of how he went from being a motorcycle mechanic to driving to more than 300 mph in less than 4 seconds. Car Town EX will be undergoing server maintenance and will be unplayable during an extended period.

Schedule : 4/10 (Wednesday) 12:00 ~ 4/12 (Friday) 12:00

Please keep in mind the following:
1. During maintenance you will not be able to access the game in anyway.
2. There may be modifications to downtime due to good or bad circumstances.

Improvements across all machines in CarTown - EX

The developers at CarTown - Ex have made some great improvements as far as loading and play-ability n the game. I play on a prehistoric Acer Aspire ONE netbook, this old machine struggles to endure the daily abuse I give it as is, so playing a game is nightmare in most instances. I saw a difference in load time and the "lag" during  racing only occurred once on the first race of the session. If you do play you should enjoy the changes, if you don't already play, You may wish to revisit CarTown-EX and give it a second try.
